Treads

Our steps generally range from 3' to 4' in length, and average 7" in thickness. Prized for their natural facing, they are a striking addition to any project. We stock a variety of sizes, and we are happy to meet special requests. If special depth requirements are called for, treads may be split or cut to size.

Flagging

The flagging produced in our quarry is typically used in path, patio, or pool decking. The bedding planes in our quarry yield uniform thickness and superb coloration. Thicknesses range from 1" to 3" with irregular shapes and sizes. This product is hand split and carefully selected to ensure its stability in paving applications. Our flagging can be laid dry or set in a bed of mortar.

Oversized Flagging

Our oversized flagging product is a specialized product used in large patio installations. The sizes range from 4" to 6" in thickness, and can vary from 6 to 10 square feet in size. Larger pieces can be made for custom orders. While this product is used in patio applications, it can serve as a valuable landscaping tool for steps, bridges, waterfalls, or pond decking. Specialty pieces can serve as bold accents to any project. For special orders please call in advance.

Lilly Pad Steppers

Our most popular landscaping product used in a variety of applications, but esteemed for the natural irregular patterns in garden path projects. Ranging in thickness from 3" to 5", most pieces can be easily managed and set by a single person. Perfect for a weekend project, or to make quick work of a path installation.

Veneer

Our veneer is a specialized product used in exterior or interior facing applications. The stone is hand selected from our quarry specifically for this use and is typically 3" to 5" thick. Veneer stone by nature has two opposing faces so that it may be placed vertically until the mortar has set. For this reason, it is a desirable product for projects other than just house cladding and fireplaces, although it is mainly used in non-structural applications.

Thin Wall

Our thin wall products have an extensive list of applications. Most sought after for its ease of use, the thin wall makes light work of walls and your back will thank you the day after. Generally sizes range in thickness from 1" to 3". Applications for this stone are the same as regular wall stone, but also include fireplace veneer, coping, entryways, and path installations. As with our wall stone this product can be laid or set in a bed of mortar.

Wall Stone

Our wall stone is regarded highly for its uniformity and ease of building. Typically sizes range from 2" to 12" in thickness, and come in a variety of irregular shapes with at least one face on each stone. Typical applications for this stone include retaining walls, freestanding walls, planters and edging. The stone can be set in a bed of mortar, or be laid dry.

Garden Stones

These special stones are hand selected for their sculptural properties. They can be used to accent your lawn or flower beds. The organic shapes and natural buffs will provide needed contrast in any garden. They can be used as a natural bench and will radiate solar heat throughout the night (this can be helpful during Spring and Fall). These stones weigh between 300 to 900 lbs. and may require the help of a machine to set.
